With a heavy heart and much sadness, we say goodbye to Gregg Carr, of East Vineland, NJ who passed away with his family by his side on Friday, August 30th, 2024, at the age of 76.
Loving husband of 52 years to Carol “Mal” Carr (nee Stephan), beloved father to son, Brian Carr (Erin) of Carlsbad, CA and daughter, Lori Carr-Beam (Mike) of Williamstown, NJ. Gregg was the loving grandfather to Dylan DeSwart and Mackenzie Carr. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gregg served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was also the owner of his successful ATM business for 30 years until his retirement. He and his wife, Carol enjoyed spontaneous short road trips to “wherever”. Gregg was a jokester at heart and would try to make everyone laugh. In his free time, he loved playing golf, watching sports, especially the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Phillies.
Though Gregg may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched along his journey of life. In his absence, his spirit lives on – a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Cremation and services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Gregg’s memory can be made to Tunnels to Towers foundation by clicking here.
