Gloria Myers

Gloria Myers, age 90 of Waterford, NJ formerly of Freehold, NJ passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family on July 18, 2024. Gloria was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was married to the love of her life, Buddy Myers, for 60 years. Gloria was a wonderful mother to her three children, Kathy (Glenn) McCarty of Blue Anchor, Edward Myers, Sr. of Waterford, NJ and Mary (Kevin) Baxter of Waterford, NJ. She cherished her grandchildren, Keith McCarty (Elizabeth), Michael McCarty (Lyle), Justin McCarty, David McCarty (Victoria), Edward Myers, Jr. (Justeen), Jacqueline Myers, Kevin Baxter, Jr. (Samantha), Andrew Baxter and her great grandchildren, Fynley, Willow, Callie, and Bodie. Gloria was very fond of her brothers and sisters who predeceased her, Michael, Ann, Walter, Daniel, Betty, Mary, Lily, Ruth, David and her parents Rev. John and Katrina Piatkowski.

Gloria was a very generous person who would do anything for anyone. She was an active member of the Grace Community Church in Waterford, where she loved attending Bible study. Gloria was the President of Myers Auto for nearly 60 years. She enjoyed boating, racing around in her car, taking trips with friends, going to the beach, watching sunsets, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 211 Greenwood Lane, Blue Anchor, NJ.
