Ghanshyam Patel

Ghanshyam Umedbhai Patel, 75 of Lindenwold, NJ passed away peacefully on January 12, 2023.

Ghanshyam was born on June 26, 1947 in Gujarat India. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Vallabh Vidyanagar University in Gujarat, India and worked at Elecon Engineering. He migrated to the United States in 1984.

Ghanshyam was a devout follower of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and attended the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Cherry Hill NJ. He spent most of his life in volunteer service, most notably during the Cultural Festival of India (CFI) that was held in Edison NJ in 1991, and the Morbi (Gujarat Flood) in 1979.

Ghanshyam is survived by his wife Nirmala Patel, his daughter Ami Patel, his son-in-law Ian Dias and his grandchildren Vikram and Arjun Dias.
