Gertrude "Gertie" Dicamillo

Gertrude DiCamillo, 84, passed away on December 29, 2023. To her husband Joe, and to most, she was known as Gertie. Growing up with seven brothers and two sisters, family has always been at the core of who she was. She had a fun, loving spirit; she was strong in her Catholic faith, and she was kind to everyone. Gertie was smart and generous, had a good sense of humor and a bright smile.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years Joseph DiCamillo; her children, Angela Maiola (Alfred, Jr.) and Joseph DiCamillo, Jr. (Sherri); grandchildren, Gina Maiola, Alfred Maiola, III (Mary Frances), Joseph DiCamillo, III; and great grandson, Alfred Maiola, IV.

She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Helen DiMedio and all nine of her siblings, Richard, Leonard, Robert, Rinaldo, Benjamin, Helena, Louis, Joseph and Rachel.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, January 5th, 2024 at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the funeral home. Mass to follow at 11:00 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 315 Carl Hasselhan Dr, Atco, NJ, 08004. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, 2398 Marlton Pike W., Cherry Hill, NJ.
