Gerald James Lanzilotti

Gerald James Lanzilotti (Lanz), age 48, passed away at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital on Friday, December 17, 2021. He was the son of Gerald Paul Lanzilotti, who predeceased him, and Virginia Kollar Lanzilotti. He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Harbidge Lanzilotti and her two daughters, Peyton Harbidge and Kendyl Sunkett, his sister, Susan Collins (Michael Jay), niece, Lindsey Collins and nephews, Francesco John Ceretelle (Tree), Zachary James Ceretelle and Randy Jay Collins. He is also survived by a grandniece, Harper Grace Ceretelle and a grand nephew, Jaxson Lanz Ceretelle. Gerry grew up in Atco, NJ among a close-knit group of friends that he would spend summers in Ocean City, NJ with. After graduating from Edgewood High School and West Virginia University, Gerry worked in pharmaceutical advertising in New York City for over 10 years. He was very athletic and participated in a variety of sports, culminating in playing ice hockey at West Virginia University. In recent years, Gerry and his wife spent time living in different parts of the country including Sioux Falls, SD and later Seattle, WA where he worked at the famous Pike Place Market. Gerry’s larger than life personality, charm and sense of humor left a special impact on those who were fortunate to have known him. He will be greatly missed. “When Lanz passed a huge light went out. He had a contagious smile to greet everyone. He was a huge force of energy that would draw everyone towards him. His raspy voice rings in my head.” - A Close Friend A visitation will be held on Wednesday December 29, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A eulogy and time for sharing will begin at 6:00 pm. Cremation will be held privately.
