George M. Lang, Sr.

George M. Lang, Sr., age 82, of Atco, NJ passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. He is survived by his dear wife, Betty Jane Lang, his children, Robert G. Lang and George M. Lang, Jr. (Sharon), his sister Eleanor Wood (Herbert) and his grandchildren, Jared, Justin, Bryan, Owen, and Ian. George is predeceased by his parents, George and Eleanor Lang.

George was born in Philadelphia, Pa on February 23, 1941. He married his beloved wife, Betty Jane in 1966 and was in the United States Army. He was a machinist at Champion Fasteners as well as a 25 year member of the Atco Fire Department. George enjoyed camping, traveling, biking and the gym but most of all he cherished the time he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, friends and his grandpup, Willy.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ with a eulogy to follow. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in George’s memory. Condolences may be shared on George’s tribute wall.
