George Dale Corey

George Dale Corey, age 65 of Voorhees, NJ passed away suddenly on October 21st, 2024. Known to family and friends as Dale or Prof, he was born to the late Warren and Doreen Corey in New Brunswick, Canada and then moved to Port Alberni, BC, Canada, where he was raised and spent most of his adult life. His greatest passion in life was his love of Hockey. He made many memories over the years with his friends, teammates, and hockey clubs. He also loved golf, football, automobiles but most of all he deeply cherished the time spent with his family and friends. In 2005, he moved to the United States and married the love of his life, Sandra. In the states, he began driving a school bus for disabled children, which he deeply enjoyed.

Dale’s greatest pleasure was to bring joy to others. We hope as you think back to the good times and memories of Dale, it brings a smile to your face, and you have a good laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra D. Corey, and by his closest friends of almost 50 years, the Manhas Family, Dave, Paul and Winder. Dale was the beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin to many other relatives in Canada and the United States. He was a caring friend to many wonderful people he had the privilege of knowing over the years.
