Frances W. Fitzpatrick

Frances W. Fitzpatrick (née Williams) passed away on September 8, 2023. She was born on July 11, 1931, in Pennsylvania and she lived in several places. Her favorite location was Arizona where she had lived with her parents, John D. and Marjory Williams. She married James Fitzpatrick in 1956 and they settled in Somerdale, NJ in 1958.

Frances worked multiple jobs in education, retiring from Overbrook Junior High in 1998. She was active in the First Baptist Church of Somerdale where she was a Sunday School teacher and supervised both the Sunday School and VBS programs. As matriarch of the Fitzpatrick family, Frances loved and cared for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many of their friends. She also loved many pets over the years.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Beth Byrnes (William Byrnes), sons, John Fitzpatrick (Lisa Jones) and Eric Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Alexis, Joshua, Steven (Connie), Andrew (Chelsea), Adam, Jessica (Rob Diaz) and Lys (Sam Hagg). Lys and Sam lived with her for the past six years and their support enabled her to remain at home. Frances was also blessed with several great grandchildren, Angelina, Dravon, and Noah.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be private at this time, with a memorial to be determined in the future.
