Florence T. Shelly

Florence T. Shelly, affectionately known as Cookie, age 77 of Hammoton, NJ, passed away on March 4, 2023. She was born to the late Arthur and Molly (nee Burling) Thum in Riverside, NJ. Cookie previously worked as an accounting manager at Sheldie in Grand Rapids, MI. She was an avid quilter and made a lot of friends through quilting. Cookie enjoyed traveling. She will be deeply missed.

Florence is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Molly Thum and siblings, Lucinda and Carol.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon S. Shelly; son, Keith Schreffler; granddaughter, Casadei; stepchildren, Don Shelly, Jon Shelly (Tina), and Gail Shelly (Donna); siblings, Arthur and Christine; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 7:00 PM-8:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
