Evelyn E. Demayo

Evelyn E. "Evie" DeMayo (nee Perna), age 73, of Sicklerville, NJ passed away on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023. She is survived by her children, Karen A. DeMayo and Sharon M. DeMayo, her brothers, Milton “Butch” Perna and Robert E. “Bobby” Perna, her granddaughter, Sarah Maria Ashley DeMayo, and her great-grandchildren, Alana, De’Andre, Jordyn, and Ma’Khi. Evelyn is pre-deceased by her partner of 35+ years, James R. Bosserdet, Sr., her parents, Isabella “Izzy” Perna (nee Christopher) and Anthony E. “Tony” Perna (Colonel), her siblings, Anthony C. “Jeep” Perna, and William R. “Ronnie” Perna, Sr., and her granddaughter, Amanda Louise Mendez.

Evelyn was born in Hammonton, NJ on October 5, 1949. She worked for Kellogg’s Co in Blue Anchor, NJ holding several positions in the company, although her favorite position was being a certified forklift operator. In her free time, she loved cooking and spending time with her family.

Cremation will be held privately at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of life will be held privately at a later date.
