Ernest E. Platt, age 83, of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday April 18, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann Platt. Loving father of Scott (Jessica) Platt. Proud grandfather of Justin and Taylor Platt. Ernest was born in New York City, and had recently resided in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Ernest worked as an operator supervisor for Western Union. Upon retiring, he went on to work as a security guard at the Claridge Casino in Atlantic City. Cremation will be held privately.
