Ernest Christian Blase

Ernest C. Blase, age 83, of Bridgeton, NJ passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2022. He was a NJ State Trooper of the 67th graduating class in 1965. After serving with the NJ State Police, Ernest went on to work for Rutgers Casualty Insurance Company as a special investigator, Cumberland County 911, Cumberland County Courthouse, and finally retiring from Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office in 2017 at the age of 78.

He loved fishing, hunting, crabbing, and anything outdoors with his wife by his side. Ernest loved get togethers and enjoyed talking to all his friends. He will be missed very much by everyone he knew.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Joann Blase and all the family and friends who loved and cared about him.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory and will be private.
