Elizabeth T. Bachmann

Elizabeth T. Bachmann (nee Schwiker), age 95 of Woodbury, NJ, passed away on November 17, 2023. She was born to the late William and Anna (nee Jackson) Schwiker in Philadelphia, PA. Elizabeth was an avid reader, she loved going to the beach and floating in the ocean, and she could talk on the phone for hours. Elizabeth enjoyed a good party, and you could count on her to be the last one to leave. A mother figure to many, she never said a bad word about anyone, and she was always pleasant with a smile on her face. She will be deeply missed.

Elizabeth is predeceased by sons, Anthony Castagna and John Castagna; parents, William and Anna Schwiker; and five siblings.

She is survived by her children, Elise Pelletier (Richard), Vince Castagna, Cathy Castagna (Michael Geserick), Frank Castagna (Donna China), Donna Castagna, and Victor Castagna (Brenda), and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friend are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 12:30 PM-1:30 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will begin at 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
