Eleanor L. Whelan

Eleanor L. Whelan (nee Sharp) age 84 of Berlin, NJ passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021. Born and raised in East Clementon, NJ until her marriage than she resided in Lindenwold for a short period of time and then Laurel Springs for most her life. She worked as a Waitress/Hostess at the Golden Whale Restaurant in Cape May, NJ for many years and Alethias Restaurant. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Eleanor also enjoyed knitting and completing jigsaw puzzles. Eleanor is predeceased by her husbands, Thomas J. Whelan and Robert E. Driscoll, Jr. Surviving are her children, Robert E. Driscoll, III (Debbi) of Glendora, NJ, Susan O’Connor (Tim) of Plymouth Rock, MA, Karen Rutland (Ruth Earley) of Mt. Ephraim, NJ, Thomas Whelan (Patti) of Marlton, NJ, Kim Whelan of Mooretown, NJ and Sandy McCall (Bucky) of West Deptford, NJ. Also surviving are her 14 grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. Condolences may be shared on her tribute wall. Cremation will be held privately at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, Atco, NJ, 08004.
