Eleanor Grace Sims

Eleanor Grace Sims, age 72, of Shamong, NJ, passed away at Virtua Hospital, Marlton, on Friday March 25, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles Sims, her son Richard Sims, sisters Joyce (Robert) Machalica, Donna Chew, and brother Garry Hansen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their children. A special thank you to her niece Kimberly Bruce for all the love and devotion through the years. Eleanor was born in Camden, NJ on July 4th, 1949 to the late Walter and Dorris Hansen of Gibbsboro, NJ. She was graduate of Eastern High School, Class of 1968. Eleanor lived in Haddonfield, NJ, Gibbsboro, NJ, Lindenwold, NJ, Shamong, NJ and North Augusta, SC. She worked at various time for the US Postal Service, Bell Telephone Co., Eastern High School, Lenape School District, and had her own cleaning service business. Cremation will be held privately.
