Eileen Watterson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen Watterson on March 27, 2025 at the age of 79.

Eileen was born in Camden, NJ on January 23, 1946 to Lillian (Blair) and George Heffron. She grew up in Bellmawr NJ, later moving to Glendora, NJ to raise her family. A devoted mother and grandmother, Eileen touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. Eileen most enjoyed spending time with her girls and dedicated many years as a Girl Scout troop leader for Brownie, Junior, and Cadette scouts and later volunteered as a Service Unit Manager. Some of her favorite memories were taking her troops camping at Camp Inawendiwin and she strived to help girls (especially her own) gain confidence and independence.

In her retirement after working more than 20 years in the public school system, she loved spending time with family (especially her grandkids) and watching the Hallmark channel movies from her favorite recliner.

Eileen is survived by her daughters Sandra (Glenn) Podolak and Cynthia (David) Hasenbein, her grandchildren Zach, David, and Victoria who will miss their "Grammy", her sister Doris (Dennis) Sandole, her nieces Linda (Jeremy) Schwartz and Michelle (Greg) Camaratta (and their children Jenna, Alex and Lily).

We will forever cherish the memories of Eileen. Eileen's family will hold a private celebration of life. Until we meet again....we "Love You More."
