Edward William Budd

William Budd, age 60 of Gloucester City, NJ, passed away on October 23, 2024. William could often be found tinkering and working with his hands. He found great satisfaction in taking things apart and putting them back together. William was a sheet metal mechanic for many years, working at several places. William cherished being outside and spending time in nature, you could often find him taking walks around Gloucester City. William was an animal lover, and in his down time he enjoyed watching cowboy movies. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family, especially his son and daughter. William will be remembered for his heart of gold and willingness to do anything for anyone. He will be deeply missed.

William is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Exelena (nee Hartman) Budd and siblings, Janet Lee Long, Robert Budd, Kathleen Matlack, Joseph M. Budd III, and Lisa Ann Budd.

He is survived by his loving companion of 34 years, Susan Brown; children, Nicholas Budd and Josie Budd; siblings, Theresa Lynn Morrone (Douglas), Jacqueline Budd, and Jeanine Marie Ayes (Robert); special nephew, Joey Budd and many loving nieces and nephews; and grandcat and buddy, MJ.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be held private.
