Edward W. Pflugfelder, 96 years passed away on October 15, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Anna (Fox) Pflugfelder. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II taking part in the D-Day Invasion at Normandy. Over his many years he was a member and supporter of several military organizations including AMVETS Post #101 in (Delair) Pennsauken, NJ. Prior to his retirement he was employed for thirty years as a Sargent at Arms for the Camden County District Court. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Gloria Pflugfelder, son Joseph Pflugfelder, and daughter in-law Angela Pflugfelder. Ed is survived by his son Edward R. Pflugfelder, a daughter in-law Deb Pflugfelder, grandson: Edward Pflugfelder, Jr. and his wife Johnna, grandson Angelo and his wife Allie, granddaughters: Adrian Casey and her husband PJ, and Natalie Collins and her husband Brian. Along with great-grandchildren: Olivia, Alee, Angelane, Aubriella, Aviana, Parker, Logan, Clay, Maggie, Leah, and Sidney. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing and funeral services on Friday October 22, 2021 starting 9:30 am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at Christ the Redeemer (Assumption) Church, Atco, NJ. Burial with military honors after Mass will be at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ. Condolences may be shared with his family on his tribute wall.
