Edward Joseph Taulane, Jr.

Edward J. Taulane, Jr., age 76 of Atco, NJ, passed away on January 11, 2023. He was born to the late Edward J. Taulane, Sr. and Dorothea (nee Kennedy) Taulane in Camden, NJ. Edward graduated from La Salle University Cum Laude in 1968 with B.S. in accounting. He was the proud owner of Edward J. Taulane, Jr. & Co. for over 40 years. Edward coached all of his kids’ sports and was the President of the Waterford Township Athletic Association for many years. He was also a member and treasurer of the Atco Lions Club; as well an integral part of the building of Assumption Church. Edward was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family. Edward will be deeply missed.

Edward is predeceased by his parents, Edward J. Taulane, Sr. and Dorothea Taulane and sister, Janet Taulane Monti.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Katherine C. Taulane (nee Cooker); children, Edward J. Taulane V (Tammy), Christopher Taulane, Sean Taulane (Danielle), and Tara Raftery (Kevin); grandchildren, Tessa Taulane (Jack Nolan), Brendan Taulane, Seamus Taulane, Aidan Taulane, Elizabeth Taulane, Declan Taulane, Finnegan Raftery, and Keira Raftery; siblings, Michael Taulane (Mary Jane), John Taulane, and Patricia McMahon (Brian); and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 6pm-8pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004 and on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 10am-10:45am at Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church, located at 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive Atco, NJ 08004. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11am at the church. Inurnment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin, NJ.
