Edward I. Debarberie

Edward I. DeBarberie, age 62, of Collings Lakes, NJ, passed away on Sunday April 7, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Kate DeBarberie (nee Mullen). Loving father of Colleen and Megan DeBarberie. Dear brother of Anthony DeBarberie (Mary Lou), the late Margaret Duffin, Louis DeBarberie, Regina Truxell, Donna DeBarberie, Joey DeBarberie (Ann), Maria Newberry (Kenny), and Katie Mroz. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Ed was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Lansdowne, PA. He moved to Collings Lakes with his wife and daughters in 1994. Ed worked for 41 years in various supermarkets throughout the area. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, watching football games with his friends, happy hours with his wife, drinking a cold Budweiser, and smoking a stogie. He also loved making the most creative, homemade birthday cakes every year for his girls. Visitation will be held on Saturday April 13, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 pm. Cremation will be held privately.
