Dulal Krishna Ghose

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Dulal Krishna Ghose on September 1st, 2024. At approximately 10 pm on September 1st, Mr. Dulal Krishna Ghose's soul departed this world for eternal peace at the feet of Holy Mother, while under the care of his daughter, Chaitali Sarkar. He is reunited with his late wife, son-in-law and son Shree Aarati Ghosh, Sri Bijan Kumar Sarkar and Sri Bikramjit Ghosh, respectively.

Mr. Ghose was born in West Bengal, India. He earned a Bachelor’s of Commerce from Calcutta University - City College. He provided many years of dedicated service as Branch Manager of the State Bank of India - Kolkata/Howrah Branches. Mr. Ghose was heavily involved in the performing arts. He learned tabla from Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri and enjoyed playing alongside his late wife while she would sing. He also participated in various stage productions with Bengali Theatre pioneer playwrights Sombhu Mitra, Tripti Mitra, and Rudraprasad Sengupta.

He will always be remembered for his contagious and welcoming smile and warm and vibrant energy.

He is survived by his daughter Chaitali Sarkar; grandson's: Debkumar, Rajkumar and Rishikumar Sarkar; granddaughter in-laws, Neelja and Ruby Sarkar; and great grandchildren: Deven, Diya, Rajeev, and Riaan. He is also survived by immediate relatives in India including his brother, Amar Krishna Ghose; and sisters, Bela Ghose and Krishna Ghose.

The puja and viewing will be held on Friday, September 6th, 2024 beginning at 4:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.
