Donna was born in Bedford county PA. After marrying and living where the Air force sent Clement for several years, they built a home in Voorhees NJ in1957, where she remained until moving in with her daughter one month before her death. Donna served as president of the Voorhees Women's Club organization in the late 1970's and early 1980's. She organized the Red Cross Blood drives and baked delicious cookies for those donating blood. She was a master seamstress and had a green thumb with growing plants and flowers. Her Christmas Cactus took top prize in the statewide Women's Club competition. She was not Italian but learned to make spaghetti sauce that made your mouth water when you walked in the house and it was on the stovetop. You had to grab a slice of bread to dip and taste it before dinner time. People were always welcome in Mom and Dad's home and there was plenty of food for whoever showed up on a Sunday afternoon. She was the anchor for family and friends. Our family and the greater community will miss Mom’s kindness and wisdom. Family and friends were Mom’s treasures. Following her example, we can make a more kind and caring world. Interment at the Atco Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053. Attn: Development https://samaritannj.org/giving/donate-now/
