Donald J. Muff Sr. On February 17th, 2022, Don joined his parents Arthur and Anna Muff, his brother Art and wife, Rhonda, and brother Earl in heaven. After a courageous battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Don is survived by his loving 3 sons “the boys”, Don Muff Jr. (Lisa), Erick, and Mike (Michele); and his former wife Joann Arnold; 2 granddaughters, Kayla and Leigha and 2 grandsons, Noah and Logan, who he loved dearly. He also leaves behind 3 sisters and 4 brothers, Marion, Mary Singley (George), Bob, Christine Cunningham (Jim), Ken (Kathy), Dennis, and Tom; many nieces and nephews from the Muff and Arnold families; and loving lifelong friends especially, Walt “Rocky” Adams and family, and Mary Magee and family. Don was retired from the NJ-DOT (37 years) which included running the West Berlin yard for many years. He enjoyed crabbing, fishing, listening to music, watching Philadelphia sports teams especially the Eagles and Phillies, playing men’s softball in his younger years, his weekly walks around the Berlin Auction, driving around in his Ford truck, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying a “cold one” with his boys, friends, and family. Don always wanted to have a good time and lived life to the fullest. Don will be forever known as the kindest, most gentle, caring, and loving man. He was known for his famous lines such as “Keep the wind to your back, what in the blue blazin’, Goodnight and may God bless, Holy smokes, and It’s the critical hour”. His most favorite saying of all was “Take it easy”… So, with all our love, Dad, take it easy…until we meet again. Rest in peace, we love you forever more. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Cremation will be held privately.
