Dolores I. Ross

Dolores Ida Ross (nee Cornew) sadly left us on May 18, 2023 after a long illness. She was born on September 17, 1930, to the late John and Camilla Cornew of Berlin NJ.

Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was very generous, compassionate, positive, loving person with a contagious laugh. Dolores had an elaborate sense of taste and style. She was very much a people person who loved to entertain, dance, and listen to Frank Sinatra.

Dolores had endless energy, working in the hospitality business waitressing at the Beau Rivage Restaurant & Braddocks Tavern, until the age of 79.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Frank F. Ross; longtime companion, Hank Pratt; and her brother, John Cornew.

She is survived by her son, Frank J.Ross (Dianne Manucci); sister, Connie Stead Jackson (Andy Jackson); and brother, Raymond Cornew.

Dolores will always remain in the hearts of her family and friends, and to all whom have come to love her.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be held privately.
