Dolores C. Simmons

Dolores C. Simmons, age 72 of Wells, ME, passed away on June 27, 2024. She was born in Pittston, PA to the late John and Eleanor Tomaskovic (nee Turon). Dolores worked for 25 years as a secretary for the Vineland Board of Education before retiring to Wells, ME. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and loved animals. Dolores will be deeply missed.

Dolores is predeceased by her parents, John and Eleanor Tomaskovic.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Q. Simmons; daughter Michele DeFulvio and her husband Joseph DeFulvio; granddaughters, Jenna, Alexa, and Julia; sister, Mary Ann Scarantino; niece, Sharon Eckman; and stepchildren, Amanda Corry, Marc Simmons, Amy Lentz, Curtis Simmons, and Charles Vassey along with their families.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 2:30 PM-3:30 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will begin at 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
