Diana Lee Githens

Diana Lee Githens (nee Wallace) of Waterford Works, NJ passed away peacefully on October 7, 2023 at her home. She is the beloved wife of Jeff Githens, Sr. of 35 years. Diana is survived by her children, Jason Wallace, Tiffany Wallace, Brianne Brown (Gerry), and Jeff Githens, Jr. She is also survived by her sister, Tammy Creelman, 18 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, several cousins and two aunts.

Diana is predeceased by her mother, Janet Creelman, her father, William Wallace, her sons, William Wallace and Robert Wallace and her brothers, Dennis Lurty, Stephen Creelman, and Ricky Creelman.

Diana was born and raised in Burlington County, spending all her life in South Jersey. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. A retired school bus driver and VFW Post 7677 member, she was kind and good hearted. Going out of her way to help those in need or sending her husband Jeff in her place. She loved her family extending family and many friends sharing much fun and laughter with all. If her mouth didn’t say it, her face did. Once she was unable to constantly be on the go, she enjoyed playing games, listening to music from the 60’s through the 80’s and keeping in daily contact with family and friends online.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing which will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service and eulogy will begin at 3:00pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contribution to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
