Derrell Simpson

Derrell W. Simpson, age 69, of Waterford NJ passed away early Monday morning, July 4, 2022.  He will be sadly missed by his children Tim, Amy, and Nikki Simpson. He was a proud Grandfather of 6, and great grandfather of 1 and fun dog Grandpa, to Diesel. He is survived by his extended family and close friends, especially his wife Kathy Robeson-Simpson, though apart, they maintained their strong bond and friendship.

Derrell was a longtime resident of Blue Anchor NJ before renovating his new property in Waterford, a few years ago.

Upon learning his trade in the Air Force, Derrell went on to be a proud union member of Local 351 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He retired after 40+ years of dangerous work, as a lineman.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his buddies from Flying Buck Gun Club, where he maintained his club membership despite giving up hunting from growing attached to the deer he was baiting.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday July 12, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Cremation will be held privately.
