Dean Cox Lorillard, age 73, passed away on August 21st, 2024. Born on May 13, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA, Dean proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from July 3rd, 1969, to June 3rd, 1972, during the Vietnam War. His commitment to duty was evident in his rigorous adherence to the Marine Corps’ values of honor, courage, and commitment.
After his military service, Dean found joy and freedom on the open road, riding his beloved Harley whenever possible. This passion for motorcycles was more than a hobby; it was a way of life that brought him immense happiness and a sense of adventure.
Dean was preceded in death by his sister, Bronwyn Seidmen; mother, Gwendolyn Cox Lorillard; father, Fred U. Lorillard Jr., and nephew, Rhys Thompson. He is survived by his niece, Shanna Thompson; nephew, Bill Thompson III, and numerous cousins from the Humphrey, Smiley, and Procopio families. His extended family and a wide circle of friends, including many veterans, will remember his spirited stories and generous heart.
Relatives, friends and fellow Veterans are invited to a Graveside Service followed by Military Honors on Friday, October 11, 2024 preciously at 11:00am at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
Everyone is asked to meet at the Welcome Center Building no later than 10:30am
