Dawn Marie Hatch (nee Muccigrosso) passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023, at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA, after a brief illness. Originally from Cedarbrook, Dawn most recently lived in Atco with family.
Born in 1965, Dawn attended Edgewood Regional High School, Winslow Twp. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She prided herself on making a home for her family, cooking, helping host large family gatherings, attending her children’s events and being a loving and supportive wife and parent. Her kids’ and grandkids’ friends saw her as another mom and mom-mom. Her love for her children, grandchildren and their friends will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. She was a force to be reckoned with as her children well remember. Her barbed wit, clever comebacks and sense of humor were legendary in the family.
Spending time with family was the most important part of her life. Whether it was watching television or holding movie nights with Douglas and Crystal, going to a game of Angelina’s, or just spending time with her youngest granddaughters Miya and Aria, Dawn always smiled biggest when her family was close to her. Her unwavering love was a constant in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives.
A lover of animals, Dawn was always ready to welcome her grand-dogs into her home and enjoyed dog-sitting when called upon. She always had time to pet her four-legged friends or to give a scratch behind the ears. She loved being near the water and the jersey shore boardwalks. She always kept an eye out for dolphins, her favorite aquatic animal.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 33 years Douglas F. Hatch Sr.; parents, Michael and Rose Martin and sister-in-law, Nancy Constantino.
Devoted mother to Jennifer M. Bill (Hatch), Douglas F. Hatch Jr. and Crystal M. Hatch. Mother-in-Law of Randy J. Bill. Incredible grandmother to Angelina, Miya, and Aria. Sister to Anthony Constantino and George Muccigrosso. She survived cousins, nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, August 7, 2023, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, N.J. 08004.
