On Saturday, February 3, 2024, I passed from this earth but don’t mourn for me. Instead rejoice for I go to join the love of life, my wife of 46 years, Marcy Anne Hoffman who preceded me to our new Heavenly home on June 20th, 2015. We have been too long apart, and my world has been empty since that horrible day. She made my life perfect. She was everything to me and I happily go to be with her again, to hold her in my arms, to walk with her hand in hand, to kiss her, to look upon her pretty face and tell her how much I love her.

I do leave behind my nephew, Stephen Hoffman and his family who supported me through my ordeal. I also leave behind many good people from HOPE, a support organization for widows and widowers, who befriended me in my darkest days and who helped me emerge from the blackness and pain of my loss. I also leave behind other friends, new and old, who offered what comfort they could when I needed it most. It is heartening to know that there are so many good people and I sincerely wish that when they need it most, they will receive the comfort and support they gave me. Cremation will be held privately at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory.
