Constance Lindsay

Constance Lindsay, age 84 of Atco, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Samuel and Susan (nee Miller) Jacobs. Constance was the matriarch of her family, and she cherished being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was full of knowledge and wisdom, and when you need guidance, she was the one you went to. Constance enjoyed reading, sewing, and tending to her garden and plants. She made a powerful and lifelong impact on many lives, and she is forever etched into the memories of her family, friends, and members of the community.

Constance is predeceased by her husband, Richard F. Lindsay and daughter, Susan Mabie.

She is survived by her children, Richard S. Lindsay (Maria), Ronald Lindsay, Connie Atkins (Gary), Michael Lindsay (Betty Jo), and Luke Barford (Shawni); son in law, Robert Mabie; grandchildren, Tiffany Lindsay, Richard “Bud” Lindsay, Connie “Phig” Morris, Heather Howell, Samantha “Suzie” Atkins, Krystina DeFeece, Robert “Beanz” Smith, Melissa O’Donnell “Pee Pee Eyes,” and Michael Lindsay; and siblings, Samuel R. Jacobs, Sandra Pegan, and Diane Holiday.

Relative and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 9:30 AM-10:45 AM at Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church, located at 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ 08004. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be private.
