Christine M. Patterson

Christine M. Patterson, age 90, beloved wife and mother passed away on April 3rd, 2022. Born in Camden, NJ she was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Casey) Barrett. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Albert P. Patterson, her son Michael P. Patterson DMA, and her daughter Donnamarie Donahue. She is survived by her brother Charles Barrett and Wife Joan Barrett, her son-in-law Robert Donahue, her daughter Kathleen Soistmann and partner Edward Stumpe, grandchildren, Lisa Governa, Michael Governa, Daniel M. Soistmann Jr. Kristie Soistmann. Great Granddaughter, Violet Chung. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graduate of Camden Catholic High School. Christine resided in Woodlynne N.J. for 35 years where she worked at Johnnies Luncheonette as a cashier. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and Choir at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Christine also volunteered her time with the PTA, the Girl Scouts, and served on the Board of Education for Woodlynne Public Schools. She retired to Leisuretown in Southhampton, NJ where she lived happily for 34 years. While living in Liesuretown, she was a member of the Fifties Club, and always enjoyed the many dances, the pool, the picnics and going to the mall shopping with her friends. Christine was known for her beautiful voice. She liked all music and was never without a song for any conversation or occasion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, April 16, 2022, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Berlin, NJ. Online condolences may be shared with her family on her tribute wall.
