Chaturbhai Jugaldas Patel was a caring and hard-working husband, father, and grandfather who passed away at the age of 97 years old Sunday, August 20, 2023, in New Jersey, USA. He was born on December 12th, 1925, to the family of Jugaldas and Menaben Patel in the village of Julasan, located in Gujarat, India. He was a middle child of 8 siblings, married to late Raiben Patel, and a father to six children, Chhanabhai, Arvindbhai, Dasharathbhai, Lilaben, Kapilaben and Gitaben.

Chaturbhai Patel was famously known for his position as Village Chief with strong principles and hard-working ethics, which allowed him to be a great mentor for many, including his children and grandchildren. Out of love and experience, everyone always held him at the highest level of respect and followed all his directives as a commandment without any second guessing. He put all his passion and diligence towards his lifelong goal to improve the future of his family. Not only did he work hard to change the future of his family, but also assisted many distant relatives and members of his village. By retirement age, he was able to successfully accomplish his life goal by settling his whole family from the village of Julasan to the city of Ahmedabad, and eventually to the United States of America. Due to the foundations laid by himself, he was able to firsthand witness his children and grandchildren prosper both financially and economically.

Chaturbhai Patel was a lifelong devotee to Sita Ram and Dolo Mata. As Village Chief, he was able to play a key role in building, maintaining, and volunteering at the Temples within Julasan. With his passion in faith, he had completed all the rigorous pilgrimage tours of Hindu Temples located across India.

Family was his top priority. He always wanted to see everyone come together, care for one another, and continue to improve the future of his ever-growing family. He will be survived and remembered by his 6 children, 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
