Charles Q. Simmons

Charles Q. Simmons, age 84, of Wells, ME and formerly of Marlton, NJ, passed away on November 1, 2024. Born to the late Charles Q. Simmons and Ruth B. Simmons (nee Bowen) in Camden, NJ. Raised by a single mother, Charles was a devoted and caring son to his Mom throughout his life. Charles had a passion for puttering around his yard, where he found joy in nurturing his surroundings. A true car enthusiast, he loved everything related to cars, with a special liking for Fords. He spent his working years as a Parts Manager at Winner Ford and Miller Ford. Charles will be deeply missed.

Charles is predeceased by his beloved wife of 40 years, Dolores C. Simmons; mother of four of his children, Donna Lee Kauffman; and parents, Charles Q. and Ruth B. Simmons.

He is survived by his children, Amanda Corry, Marc Simmons, Amy Lentz (Larry), Curtis Simmons, and Charles Vassey; stepdaughter, Michele DeFulvio (Joseph); many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; and mother of one of his children, Corrine Vassey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 3:30 PM-4:30 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will begin at 4:30 PM at the funeral home.
