Catherine Louise Barlow

Catherine Louise Barlow, age 97, of Atco, NJ went to her heavenly home on April 16th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janie Barlow, her grandchildren, Mark Barlow (Malinda), Melissa Giandiletti (Paul), and Brian Barlow, her great-grandchildren, Mark, Brett, Randy, Katelyn, JT (Shannon), Martina, and Leah and well as her great-great granddaughter, Sadie. Catherine is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, James “Jim” J. Barlow, Jr, her son, James Vincent Barlow, her parents, Vincent and Florence “Tootsie” Campbell, her brother, Jerry Campbell and sister-in-law, Eleanor Campbell.

Catherine, lovingly known as Cookie, was a lifelong resident of Atco, NJ. She was deeply devoted to Assumption church, something she learned from her parents, Vincent and Tootsie who were very involved in the church community. Cookie cooked and cleaned for the Nuns and Clergy and worked as a seamstress in a local factory; even making her own clothes. She married the love of her life in 1946, Jim J. Barlow, Jr. Cookie enjoyed Sunday drives and traveling in her free time and was able to visit all 50 states, Hawaii being her favorite. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, April 25th, 2024 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004, the final viewing will be held on Friday, April 26th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ 08004. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am with interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 260 West White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.
