Catherine "Cis" M. Mcclaskey

It is with a heavy heart that we share the unbearable news of our mother Catherine’s “Cis” passing. She left us in the middle of the night after her loved ones had the opportunity to see her for the last time. Mom was the light in every room. She loved her family fearlessly with all her heart. She enjoyed traveling, her favorite was the trips she took to Ireland with Sonny, Diane, Bob, GeorgeAnne and friends. She cherished all the memories she made with her family and friends. She found pleasure in all the simple things in life like swimming, sewing, gardening, watching the hummingbirds visit and the baby foxes that would play in the tall grass in the spring. Mom met the love her life, her sweetheart Sonny when they were just in grade school. Dad went to public school and Mom to Catholic school before they moved onto high school together. They were inseparable, high school sweethearts. Growing together, learning from one another and building a life they would cherish for lifetimes to come. They recently celebrated 62 wonderful years of marriage this past October. We will miss her smile and infectious laugh. Life will not be the same with her gone but we find comfort in knowing that she will always be with us. Watching from up above with the best view in the house. We miss you so much and love you endlessly Mom.

Catherine leaves behind her unwavering husband Charles, children Bryan McClaskey (Theresa), Tara Shetter (Mark), Cathy Weatherby (Jeffrey), Glenn McClaskey, grandchildren Brooke Shetter, Eric Shetter, Ryan Weatherby, Dana Longo (Raymond), Sean Weatherby, Conner Weatherby, Caitlin McClaskey, Gavin McClaskey, great-grandchildren Peyton Longo, Owen Longo and Macie Longo, and devoted sisters Diane Thompson (Robert), GeorgeAnne Tutunjian.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing which will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm. Cremation will be private
