Carmen J. Grasso

Carmen J. Grasso, age 81 of Elm, NJ passed away on Monday, April 4th, 2022. Carmen lived a Big Life and was loved by many. He most enjoyed spending time at his farm, gathering with his family and friends, and Sunday dinners. Carmen was larger than life and known as a “legend” by many. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking, but mostly entertaining family and friends. He often enjoyed his rides with his Grandson, Andrew, around the farm and guiding his future. Carmen was predeceased by his lovely wife of 56 years, Joanne (nee Bartuccio) Grasso, by his parents, John A. and Minnie (Delareto) Grasso, his sister Anna Condo, his brother John A. Grasso, Jr., his sister and brother-in-law Mary and Bob Richards and his brother-in-law Pete Bartuccio. Carmen is survived by his loving children JoAnne Hamilton (Andrew), Carmine Grasso (Joan), and Sandra Grasso. Carmen had 5 beautiful grandchildren, Andrew (Emily) and Christopher Hamilton and Joseph, Gabrielle (Vinny), and Carmine Grasso. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws Michael Bartuccio (Lilianne) and Louis Condo, Sr., his sister Roslyn Watson and sister-in-law Betty Grasso and countless other relatives and friends. He will be missed by many and carried in the hearts of his family forever. Services will be held privately.
