Carmen A. Campione, Jr., age 77 of Hammonton, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Carmen Campione, Sr. and Mary Lou Campione (nee Ware). Carmen proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was a dedicated employee of Winslow Township Public Works where he was the supervisor for many years. An avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, he enjoyed farming, growing blackberries, and spending time at the casino. Despite health setbacks, Carmen remained strong and resilient. He will be deeply missed.
Carmen is predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Mary Lou Campione and siblings, Anthony Campione and Alice Campione.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Helen “Dolly” Campione (nee Wescoat); daughters, Gina DeMaio (Jamie) and Michele Campione; granddaughters, Ashley Clegg (Wade) and Kaitlyn DeMaio; great grandchild, Charlie Clegg; sister, Cindy Campione; sisters in law, Mary Ann Campione and Nancy Wescoat; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM.
