Candy Honorio (nee Tiongko), age 78, of Atco, NJ, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Candy is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Ricardo. Loving mother of Al Honorio (Kristi Branch) of Los Gatos, CA, Maria Honorio of Millville, NJ, and Theresa (Doug) Huber of Vienna, VA. Proud grandmother of Mia Honorio and Nick Huber. Candy is also survived by her sister, Jovita Ragnoni (nee Tiongko) of Toronto, Canada, and numerous sisters/brothers-in-law. She now joins her parents and 7 other brothers and sisters in Heaven. Candy, with her husband Ricardo, lived and enabled the American Dream for their family by moving to the U.S. from Cebu, Philippines in 1972. Her devout Catholic faith, caring, and loving nature showed through her career as a registered nurse for 40+ years. Fate brought out her tremendous strength and perseverance to battle Parkinson’s disease for nearly 20 years. Parkinson’s did not stop her from being an active member and officer with the Legion of Mary and Daughter of Zion Curia, and participating in various social activities at the Fountains residences. Candy loved and enjoyed large family gatherings, playing the boardgame Sequence, bowling, water aerobics, and especially fishing in Seaside Park, NJ. She also found time to make endless amounts of rosaries to share with everyone, while leading prayer and rosary groups. Most of all, Candy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, friend, and was equally loved by family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to VIRTUALLY attend her Celebration of Life Services on Saturday, January 23rd, 2021. A livestream webcast will start with the virtual viewing at 2:00 pm ET, followed by the Celebration of Life Service starting at 4:00 pm ET, on Saturday Januardy 23rd at the following link: https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/32218546 or on the tribute wall.
