Brian M. Derr, age 52 of Atco, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2023, due to a motor vehicle accident. He was born to the late Joseph and Margaret Derr (nee Martin) in Stratford, NJ. Brian worked for Meineke Motors for 5 years, Waterford Township Public Works for 3 years, and lastly was an operator for the Camden County Highway Department for 10 years. He was also a former employee of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory for 4 years. Brian was a life member of the Waterford Township Fire Department and a member of the State Forestry. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved camping at Lake George. Most of all, he enjoyed working on his Chevy Tahoe with his son in law, cherished his weekly trail rides with his family, and spending time with his grandchildren. Brian will be deeply missed.
Brian is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Derr.
He is survived by his daughters, Rachael Bangle (Edward) and Jessica Derr; grandchildren, Quinn Bangle and Raymond Derr; mother of his children and dear friend, Christine Lynn; siblings, Arletta Derr (Kurt), Joseph Derr, Tracy Derr, and Kelly John (Raymond); niece, Emily John (Jake); nephew, Joey John; beloved Granny, Anna DeFalco; and many loving extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Atco Cemetery.
