Bradford S. Richardson

May 31, 1976 — April 4, 2022

Bradford S. Richardson, age 45, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 after an incredibly brave fight against pancreatic cancer. He passed at home surrounded by his loving family. Brad is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte Richardson (nee Post), two beautiful children Makaylee (13) and Joey (8) Richardson, loving brother Thomas V. Richardson III (Rebecca), nephews AJ Richardson (fiancé Sam Hoffman) and Russell H. Post V, and niece Ava Richardson. He will be greatly missed by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Carol and Russell H. Post III, as well as his brother-in-law, Russell H. Post IV. Brad’s family and friends will miss his contagious laughter, enthusiasm for life, and ability to fix almost anything. Brad was born in Woodbury, NJ. His family moved around throughout his childhood living in Oklahoma, Mantua, Sewell, and finally Paulsboro where he graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1994. After high school Brad became a certified commercial scuba diver. He was a hard worker also taking a second job delivering pizzas at Pat’s Pizza. He went on to attend Rowan University to earn his bachelor’s degree in psychology while working at Bancroft NeuroHealth where he met his wife. He continued on to become a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst and also worked at AdvoServ, Bellweather, and most recently Elwynn. He was a strong advocate for improving the quality of life for individuals who were dually diagnosed with mental health diagnoses and developmental disabilities. He and his wife were longtime residents of Glassboro, before moving to Franklinville 6 years ago. Brad enjoyed attending Eagles games with his brother, Tom, and cherished every moment of every season. They both travelled together to Florida when the Eagles went to the Super Bowl in 2004, and then celebrated together with their families at home when they finally won in 2017. He also treasured games that he was able to take his family and go with his nephew AJ. His friendly rivalries always provided fond memories with all of his friends each season. Brad was a proud, active member of the Paulsboro Stag Hunting Club in Chatsworth, NJ. He enjoyed hunting whitetail deer and turkey. Brad enjoyed spending time with the guys at the club, especially during shotgun week. What happens at the club stays at the club. Brad also spent a lot of time hunting with his father-in-law, Russell. He learned a lot from Russell and took pride in some of his best hunts. Some of Brad’s fondest memories were enjoyed while spending time with his family. He cherished the times he and his family were able to go camping, play board games, attend sporting events, or just spend time fiddling in the yard. The more the merrier was Brad’s way of thinking. He was able to bring people together and build relationships with ease. He was an assistant coach for his daughter’s softball team, helped with his son’s baseball team when he could and also helped his brother coach his nephew’s baseball team as well. When Brad was diagnosed in March of 2020, he made a dream purchase, a Harley Davidson. In recent years, Brad enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with friends riding around the tri-state area. Brad was always up for an adventure anytime of the day or night and lived for every second. Brad was a man of many words, always talking to someone about anything and everything everywhere he would go. He enjoyed life and hoped to instill that same zest in his children. He was always kind and took pride in helping others at any opportunity. To some he was Brad, or Bradford, or B-rad…to his family he was Daddy, Papi, and Bobby. Brad will continue to be loved, remembered and terribly missed for all of forever, by everyone who knew him especially his wife and children. Cremation will be held privately. A celebration of life party will be held at a later date. Condolences may be shared at www.lpwoosterfuneralhome.com
