Bernice R. Sassany

Bernice R. Sassany, age 97, of Lindenwold, NJ passed away on January 6th, 2025. She is survived by her children, John Sassany, Jr., Mary Brickner (James), and Eileen Reardon (John), grandchildren, Tammy, John, Louie, James, Kimberly, James, Lindsay, Jason and Gina, as well as many great grand kids. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Sassany, Sr. and son, James Sassany, as well as her parents, Clarence and Mary Hanners.

Bernice was full of life, her presence had family, friends, and even her nurses flocking to her. She enjoyed trips to the casino and annual trips with her girlfriends. In her down time, she spent hours coloring and no one could forget her Christmas time pizzelles! Bernice worked for Love Cosmetics in Bellmawr, NJ then later on in life worked at Smith, Kline & French in Philadelphia, PA. Most of all, Bernice cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Services will be held privately. Condolences may be shared on her tribute wall.
