Barbara June Templeton

June 6, 1947 — October 18, 2021

Barbara J. Templeton passed away on October 18, 2021 at the age of 74. Barbara (Bobbi) formerly a resident of Philadelphia PA and Westmont NJ, daughter of James and Jacqueline Mickle. She is survived by her loving husband Donald Templeton and her two sons Scott Shotwell (Jennifer) and Anthony SanFelice (Melissa). She will be missed by her 5 grandchildren Jessica Pieretti (Joe), Elizabeth Evalt (Adam), Sarah Shotwell, Aryn Young, and Aislyn SanFelice. She was also the great-grandmother of Lena and Jeremiah Pieretti. She will also be missed by her cousins and their families, who have celebrated every holiday, vacations, birthdays, and family events together. Bobbi enjoyed being the secretary to the Chaplin at Parx Racetrack where she loved meeting people and helping them get settled. Once retired she enjoyed being a Mission Volunteer with the United Methodist Nomads repairing homes, churches, and even campgrounds. Bobbi and Don traveled in their mobile home with other Nomads and also found a home away from home at Faith United Methodist Church in Jacksonville Florida. Her family was always prepared for stories of the other volunteers, her favorite cats at the church (and which ones she wants to bring back) and Pastor Barry Andrews. We always appreciated the love and care they were shown by everyone at Faith UMC. There will be a private celebration of her life for family and friends on: Saturday, October 23rd 2021 from 1-5pm. Please contact Scott Shotwell if you would like to attend shotwell101@yahoo.com In lieu of flowers, Bobbi would prefer a donation in her memory to Faith United Methodist Church. http://www.faithumcjax.org/
