Barbara C. Macauley

Barbara C. Macauley (nee Ritter) age 73 of Southampton, NJ passed away on February 4, 2023 at the Samaritan Center in Voorhees, NJ. She was born to the late Harry and Minerva Ritter in Philadelphia, PA. She attended St. Raphaels and West Philadelphia Catholic Girls High School and later attended Camden County College. Barbara and Robert A. Macauley were married on April 26, 1969.

Barbara was a Den Leader and Den Leader Coach for Pack 95, Boy Scouts of America, Atco, NJ. She was also involved with the Edgewood High School Band Club, Edgewood Midget Football Women’s Club and the Ladies of the Lake Camping Club in Atco. Barbara owned Advanced Surgical Supply in Berlin, NJ and also worked at Virtua Rehab Admissions Department.

Barbara is survived by her husband Robert A. Macauley, Sr., her children, Robert A. Macauley, Jr. (Colleen) of Williamstown, NJ, Karen Paladino (John) of Williamstown, NJ and Lisa Lysinger (Don) of Ocean City, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashton, Tyler, Jacob and Cooper.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 5:00pm. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
