Barbara A Smith Barbara Anne Smith of Blue Anchor, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. She quietly departed this life surrounded by the love of her family, friends, and her grand dog, Dexter. She was 65 years old. While Barbara’s life may have been cut short by pancreatic cancer; her spirit, communicable personality, and unconditional love for others, will be valued forever in all those she has left behind. Anyone familiar with Barbara knew she just loved to have fun. Barbara was born on June 17, 1956, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late John and Elsie Simon. She was a graduate of the class of 1978 from Glassboro State College where she received her bachelor’s degree in Education. Although she has worked the past 20 years at Lucca Cold Storage from which she recently retired, she spent many years prior landscaping at Lipinski’s. It was there she met her husband and established her passion for gardening. Barbara was a devoted mother and a free-spirited woman. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the life of her daughter Corey. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, and riding her motorcycle. She loved gardening and her many pets, including “the pig”, the dog, Corey left at home for her. She is survived by her husband, Louis O’Neill, daughter Corey A Smith (Kelly Ireland), sisters Karen (Robert) Grundy, Deborah (John) Pacitti, and Linda (Gerry) Clauss. Relatives and friends may attend her visitation from 2 to 4pm followed by a Memorial service at 4pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the LeRoy P.
