Arthur Schaeffer

Arthur Schaeffer, age 56, of Atco, NJ passed away on Saturday April 25, 2020 at Virtua Voorhees Hospital. Son of Carol (nee Ognissanti) and the late William Schaeffer. Beloved husband of 29 years to Sally Schaeffer (nee Libak). Loving father of Megan King, Sara Schaeffer, and Danielle Schaeffer. Proud grandfather of Isabelle, Scarlett, Violet, and Gemx. Dear brother of the Kimberly Schaeffer and the late Mark Schaeffer. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his dear friend Michael (Leslie) Redman, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arthur was born in Camden, NJ and had resided in Atco since 1994. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Panther Technology in Medford, NJ for many years, before recently working for Operating Engineers Local 825. He was a skilled equipment operator and loved his jobs. Arthur was a member of the Crowfoot Buck Club and had recently joined the Atco American Legion. He enjoyed his Harley and cars, and spending time with his wife, daughters, and granddaughters. Cremation will be held privately. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
