He was Butch, Poppy, and Dr. Doo-wop

Art grew up in Riverside, NJ before traveling the world in the Air Force.  After the military, he became a student of information systems in retail, which led to an Executive role in the Big Apple for many years.

He’d beat you at horseshoes while singing his favorite oldies song, and he was an accomplished fantasy footballer proud of his trophy case and rings. He needed to be watched around the sangria, but he was always dependable to his family, friends, and neighbors. He never missed an important date and was a great gift-giver. He was known for his special casserole and secret stash of snacks. He was tall, lean, athletic, and formidable on the dance floor.

We will miss your jokes, love and maybe your singing…

He is survived by his former wife Sharon and their children and (spouses): Scott (Melissa) and Lindsey (Justin), his three amazing grandchildren: Laney, Sadie, and Brayden, and their three adoring grand puppies.
