Arnav Misra

Arnav Misra, age 20, of Cherry Hill, NJ, passed away on Friday October 14, 2022. Loving grandson of late Sri Jai Narayan Misra and Smt Lajja Misra (paternal), late Sri Ramakant Dwivedi and late Smt. Lakshmi Dwivedi (maternal), proud son of the Anurag and Alka Misra and caring brother of Arav Misra.

Arnav was born in Kanpur, India and was living in NJ since 2007. He attended Cherry Hill High School and graduated in 2019. He was pursuing his under grad in Computer Engineering at Rutgers University. He was an enthusiastic participant in Hackathon and Odyssey of Mind while in high school and won various prizes. He was very keen in robotics, and he was a member of University Robotics Club. His passion for innovation was underway in an effort to convert a manual bike to an electric bike which he had planned to present as prototype to earn an internship at Tesla. He was a brilliant chess player and won various competitions.

Arnav was very intelligent, caring, and witty with great sense of humor. He loved adventurous rides and wanted to do skydiving. Arnav was a 1st Class Scout and loved going outdoors. Rafting, skiing, snow tubing and camping were his favorites. He enjoyed the world of fantasy by immersing in Harry Potters and Call of Duty. He would make anybody laugh and bring energy and life with his presence. He was very devoted to his family and friends.

A pooja and cremation ceremony will be held on Wednesday October 19, 2022 between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ to bless the soul for peaceful transition to the next world.
