Arlene Bordel

Arlene Bordel (nee Bodnar) age 82 of Williamstown, NJ passed peacefully at home on Friday, February 17, 2023. Arlene is predeceased by her beloved husband, Claude and her devoted son, David. She is deeply missed by her daughters, Donna Winner (John) of Franklinville, NJ and Cathy Dinger (Jack) of Williamstown, NJ, her grandchildren, Katie (Barry), Danae (Frank), Nicollette (Lucas), Allison (Christopher), Adriana and Lucas; along with her great-granddaughters, Maxine and Sloane.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet with her family on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 10:00am to 11:00am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will begin at 11:00am followed by interment of her urn at the New Freedom Cemetery, Tansboro, NJ, then a luncheon at Brigalia’s.

Grammy’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her six grandchildren. She cheered them on at all their sporting and school activities. She loved going to all the dance recitals, cheerleading competitions, basketball, hockey and baseball games over the years, no matter the weather. She was without a doubt, the world’s best Grammy.

Our mom was a passionate dog lover and treasured her years with her beautiful collies, Nugget and Tipper. She was always ready with a treat and a hug for all her grandfurry- pups over the years.

Arlene had two wonderful sisters, Mary and Helen. Mary and her enjoyed many trips to Atlantic City where they spent endless hours playing the penny slots. Arlene was also a loving Aunt to her sister’s children, especially Heidi and Dana. She attended many family gatherings celebrating their children's lives as well.

More recently, Arlene experienced the absolute joy of becoming a Great-Grandmother. It is a role we all deeply wish she could have treasured longer.

She will be incredibly missed by her loving family. We were blessed with thousands of beautiful memories, that will be forever in our hearts.
