Antoinette Rauseo

Antoinette Rauseo, passed away at home on October 28, 2020, age 91. Known to many as Ann and as “GG” to her great grandchildren. Beloved mother of Lynda M. DiJoseph and son-in-law Frank DiJoseph of Sicklerville, NJ who she lived with for the past 5 ½ years. Devoted grandmother of Jason House (Sabrina), and Michael House (Mary). Dearest great grandmother of Alexa, Justin, Abby, and Amber. She was the last surviving sibling and dear sister of the late Lena Smolyn (Paul), Louise Ragazzo (Mike), Helen Rudat (George), Mary Starosciak (Walter), Tony Rauseo (survived by Lilly) and, Angelo Rauseo (survived by Carmela). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed. Ann was born in Elizabeth, NJ where she graduated high school and lived until she was married. In her younger years she was an excellent dancer and especially loved the jitterbug. She worked until the age of 80 and enjoyed her latest job as a cashier because she could talk to people. She was happiest spending time with family and friends. She loved every holiday and remembered everyone’s birthday. We have many fond memories of cooking meals together with family. She grew up during the depression and always remembered what it felt like when anyone helped her or her family. If anyone was in need, she would help them any way she could whether it was bags of groceries or a helping hand. She will always be remembered as a kind and generous lady. Please feel free to share a memory. A visitation will be held on Sunday July 25, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.
